Friends of Camelot! (If there are any left out there…) “The most memorable three days of your life”

Things are getting so bad at Camelot Castle Hotel it looks like they can’t even give their rooms away

The latest ‘Friends of Camelot’ email from John Mappin is a desperate plea for survival. Yes, you know how important it is to fight for the life of a local business because John and Ted made a point of telling you about it two emails ago. Do you think it was in preparation for their own demise?

There are some telling changes in this week’s email. First of all, it’s headed ‘Friends of Ted’ (presumably out of sympathy for all the flak poor old Ted’s been getting about his dire paintings). Secondly, it doesn’t mention Scientology. That’s probably a good thing given how people in Tintagel are reported to be feeling following the BBC Panorama programme the other night.

Finally, the ‘special offer’ feels like they’re grasping at straws – a chance to come and see Ted’s new style of ‘art’ AND endure 2 more nights than any sane person would probably want? I’m … stunned 🙂

Somebody’s needs to post Ted’s phone number so Anons can call to talk about his “art.” Scientologists absolutely drive me up the wall with their obvious lies and shameless bullshitting.
