Camelot Castle Hotel spam: “What does a person have to do to stop your emails?”

Asks one unfortunate recipient of John and Ted’s Spamalot

The Camelot Castle Hotel Facebook page is lulzy. Not because of the dreary Camelot propaganda but because there’s an amusing but clearly irate comment from someone who’s sick and tired of getting spam from Mappin and Stourton.

He’s not alone from what I’ve heard, far from it. Camelot Castle Hotel is infamous for its aggressive spamming policy. Mappin himself claims (ludicrously) to email over 90,000 ‘influential decision makers’ every time he pukes out one of his ‘Friends Of Camelot’ Scientology promotions.

What can you do to stop Mappin’s spam? You could start here – with the Information Commissioner’s Office complaint form. Then you could share that URL with anyone else you know who is sick of receiving Camelot spam. Text it, Tweet it, Facebook it… share it anyway you can.

  1. Don Purcell says:

What you don’t realize is that Ted Stourton is Xenu, and Camelot Castle Hotel is his electronic prison.

  2. Xenu says:

Hey! I’m not Ted Stourton. Please don’t confuse me with that schizophrenic nut bag.
